Job Description
The Facilities Engineer Sr – Instrument & Control position will provide first line maintenance and engineering discipline support to the assets and will be direct report to the Maintenance & Integrity Manager.
Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities
•Respond as appropriate to resolve discipline related queries following the EQ process.
•Complying with the MOC/ SMOC process.
•Utilise SAP to coordinate Service Requests, Work Orders and associated maintenance.
•Produce SOR’s for SORTER project scopes and handover to modifications group.
•Ensuring Corrective WO’s are captured in SAP and progressed as required, including deferrals and change requests.
•Coordinate equipment repairs for relevant discipline area including process of dispersals, vendor liaison and associated logistics.
•Support IVB Platform inspections and actions arising.
•Support HSE inspections and questions.
•Support equipment root cause failure analysis and actions arising.
•Conduct risk assessments for Safety Critical backlog PMR’s and Corrective Work orders where applicable.
•Coordinate urgent material requisitions, including vendor liaison and associated logistics.
•Manage materials and liaise with Warehouse regarding stock levels.
•Generate and develop Equipment Bill of Materials in discipline area.
•Coordinate and provide input to yearly vendor maintenance plans and vendor work pack process.
•Provide input to the asset Maintenance Planning process as required.
•Liaise closely with key vendors and contractors to ensure satisfactory level of service is continuously achieved.
•Attend maintenance meetings to provide progress update of maintenance assigned activities.
•Participate in the development and continuous improvement of maintenance strategies and development of long-term equipment plans.
•Development of discipline specific budget and provide monthly stewardship.
•Support platform audits and actions arising.
•Offshore/site surveys and vendor site visits as required.
Desired Qualities/Qualifications
•Trade apprenticeship in technical discipline
•Engineering Degree preferable or equivalent related experience and competency
•Good knowledge of on/offshore oil and gas related process, systems and equipment
•5 years working in or in support of an on/offshore operation
•Experience of using SAP (or equivalent) computerised maintenance management system
