Storeman/Driver

Our client based in Potterton are looking for a Storeman/Driver to join their team on a staff basis.

MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB:
• To pick, compile and pack orders accurately in line with clients and company requirements ensuring relevant certification, datasheets, dangerous goods paperwork is enclosed.
• Deliver goods / products on behalf of the company in a safe and secure manner ensuring goods are in a good quality condition.
• Ensuring goods are delivered within timescales to the customer’s satisfaction. 
RESPONSIBLE FOR:
• Detailed and accuracy in picking and packing orders. 
• Responsible for all documentation attaining to goods outwards.
• Other warehouse and driving duties as required.
KEY WORK AREAS:
• Goods Outwards / Warehouse / Deliveries
• Check accuracy of all orders resolving any anomalies prior to issue to ensure customer satisfaction for goods outwards.
• To pack orders safely and securely ensuring products reach customers without damage. 
• Maintain administration procedures and communication in line with QA requirements.
• Ensure all unchecked equipment is kept in a separate designated are from checked equipment.
• Maintain clean and safe working areas at all times in compliance with current, health, hygiene and safety regulations. 
• Undertake warehouse tasks as required.
• Perform any other reasonable duties including stock taking / goods inwards that may be required due to operational requirements. 
• Responsible for day to day maintenance and care of company equipment including forklifts, pallet trucks, safety steps
• Ensure the safe storage of stock items in allocated bays to allow for efficient dispatch.
• Be proficient in the use of Oil Spill Containment Kits, disposal and reporting requirements.
• Adhere to CI policies and procedures around reduction in waste and contribute towards recycling efforts.
• To load delivery vehicles with deliveries.
• Responsible for day-to-day maintenance and care of company vehicles (internally and externally including driver cab) used to perform job.
• Liaise with customers when delivery goods at various locations.
• Ensuring goods damaged in transit are returned to CI warehouse to resolve and not delivered to customer.
• Ensuring goods to be collected from suppliers / customers and done in a timely manner

• Experience of working in a warehouse environment
• QHSE Training
• MSDS/Dangerous Goods training
• Knowledge of stock products
• Clean Driving Licence
• Forklift Driving Certificate
• 7.5T Licence
• CPC Training
